Our baseline studies conform to the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) protocol for the identification and definition of the flora fauna as well as the sensitive species and communities in the environment.

Fugro Nigeria Limited delineates sensitive ecological zones as they relate to areas that are important for breeding, nursery, migration and sensitive habitats such as wastelands and lagoons. It also delineates ecological zones in accordance with the significant natural environment of the area.

All these are captured in a GIS database, using ARC/info, in order to enable the delineate the sensitive sites in any area of study.
