analysis are
performed on samples
in order to
ascertain the
aggressiveness of
the soil towards
concrete, steel and
other buried items.
The analysis shall
include
determination of the
following:
- Acidity of
soil expressed
as a
Bauman-Gully
number (DIN
4030).
- Sulphate
content (SO‾
‾4)
in mg/kg (DIN
4030).

Sulphide content
(S‾ ‾) in mg/kg
(DIN 4030).
-
Chloride content
(Cl‾ ) in mg/kg.
-
Content of heavy
metals and other
polluting
reagents in mud
samples taken
from harbour and
estuarine areas.

Mineralogical
composition of
clay/slit
samples, when
applicable.
